Nicky Prince
Nicky Prince is a true performer and entertainer with powerful, soulful vocals enough to move anyone’s soul! With years of experience as a solo artist and as a lead and backing singer for many bands, she knows how to make any event a success and entertain a crowd!
Nicky has been singing for over 30 years (a dancer prior to that) and grew up on Soul, R&B, Funk, Pop, and Reggae. Her main influences and inspirations come from both old and new artists such as Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, The Isley Brothers, James Brown, Amy Winehouse and Beyonce.
Over the years, she has supported Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club, and the legends that are Soul II Soul. She has performed at the Silverstone Grand Prix with Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake) and also played Glastonbury several times with ‘Flipside’.
She was a part of the UK’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest with Imaani, appearing on many TV shows, including Top Of The Pops. She has also provided backing vocals with for many Elvis Tribute artists, top George Michael tribute artist Wayne Dilks, and the former lead singer of The Stylistics, Eban Brown.
She is currently providing vocals for several theatre shows – Lost in Music, Chaka – The Music of Chaka Khan, Give Me The Night – George Benson, and Natalie Black – Hometown Glory Adele Tribute.
